Measurement of RPM, flow, or other tachometric, counting, or accumulating applications. Generally used with our Auto-Feed Plus®, speed switches, engine management systems, and engine controls to provide dependable measurement of engine speed. A pickup is usually mounted on the engine’s bell housing near the flywheel or gearwheel teeth. As the metal gear-teeth rotate and pass the pickup sensor, the pickup generates an AC voltage. The AC signal frequency, proportional to the engine speed, is measured by an appropriate device. Type a detailed description of your product.
